Smart Car Headlights Will Learn to See Through Blinding Rain!

CMU’s Robotics Institute is behind the smart headlight system. This includes  a high-speed camera, computer and projector  – all to track the motion of falling precipitation (rain, snow). This data is then applied to a computer algorithm that is able to predict where the particles will be just a few milliseconds later.
